I was on youtube when I came along the song, Kiss the Girl by Ashley Tisdale, yea guys from the Little Mermaid, but it gave me the idea for this post.
Guys are you afraid to kiss your date, or girlfriend? Here is the thing the guy for centuries has been the instigator the first kiss between a couple. But i guarantee all guys, no matter what get nervous about that first kiss you two share. There are many reasons for this to occur, what is there are no sparks? What if I mess up? What is she doesn't want to? What if I do it too much? What if I don't kiss her long enough? What is the point of kissing her anyways? Why does she need me to do it? These are valid questions for you guys to be asking.
Q. What if there are no sparks?
A.This is your first kiss with this amazing girl, if you really like her, and she really likes you, there will always be that fire lit when you kiss. When the fire is extinguished you shouldn't try to rekindle the fire, but rather let it burn out.
Q.What if i mess up?
A.All first kisses between couples are always pretty dang awkward, but with practice you guys will be pros with each other's lips.
Q.What if she doesn't want to?
A.I guarantee she wants to kiss you. If she doesn't want to kiss you, you guys aren't a couple, you guys are two people of the opposite sex that hang out and call each other boyfriend and girlfriend.
Q.What if I kiss her too long or too short?
A.You can never have your timing down on the first kiss, my advice is to kiss her long enough for you to count to 7.
Q.What's the point of kissing her?
A.Like said in one of the previous questions, if you guys don't kiss or do anything romantic you guys are not together, you are two people of the opposite sex who hang out a lot and call each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Just kiss her!
Q.What is it I that needs to do it?
A.This question is actually one of the main questions I am asked. It annoys me a lot when guys ask me this. You guys always say how you want to be the main in the relationship, so act like it guys.

Dating in 2014
We have reached 2014! The end of the world has not come, the arctic has not melted and a zombie apocalypse is not upon us. However your year might be needing a new thing involved, maybe a boy or girl you have been interesting in but just don't know how to ask him or her out yet? I have ideas.
You can always go classic with putting a note in his or her locker, but that is so old i think the dinosaurs used it. Here is a little more of an updated way go to your mall or wherever you have a photo booth and get in there and in one picture have a sign that says her name, then another that says will you go out then another that says with me then the last one with a ? he or she will know that you put time and thought about how you want to go out with them. If you are highly musical then write him or her a song, i don't know about you but that impressed me a ton when it happened to me, it shows how special you are to that person. If you are daring write it on her car / on the sidewalk out front of her house and i trust you as long as she knows you pretty well she won't think your a stalker instead he to she will be thinking about if you were this open to ask her out what awesome things are going to happen on the date. If your boy/girl is athletic there are two ways you can do this number one you can write on whatever ball is in her sport be mine on it or number two take softball, baseballs, basketballs, pom poms, footballs, what ever sport she or be plays and write Date? yes or no in them. If you work at place she goes to a lot, is it's a retail store make sure he or she goes to your checkout when you hand her the receipt on the back write date? If you work at a food place make sure your the one that is either her waiter or is the one that she pays on her check write it would be me a lot of joy to go out to dinner with you, when I'm not you waiter. Dating in 2014 is all about being creative. Sure you can always just hit em up with a text, or swing by their locker and say you me movie Saturday night 5:00. She or he will be psyched that you asked him out, but they (especially girls) will be so much more excited if they know you put thought into it. If you don't want them to remember how you first asked them out, you shouldn't be asking them out in the first place. Happy asking!

How old is too old?
Like a guy? Do you have some years between you? Well if you are a little bit older, in college or later you can have more then 4 years in between you, because the years are more alike and you are closer in your life goals as people four, five, or six years older then you. However if you are in high school or in extreme cases in middle school.
My advice for high school is: for freshman don't go higher then a senior, sophomores, same as freshman, you guys are just too young to up on that upper level and all that time apart while he is at college, juniors you can date up to a freshman in college, this is because once you hit your junior year you usually are pretty comfortable and can drive which always makes things better, Seniors considering next year you will be in college you can date a freshman or sophomore in college, maybe a junior, but it's debatable.
Middle schoolers, if you are in sixth or seventh grade date a guy either in your class or a year above, eighth grade you can date either a freshman or sophomore in high school.
Thing is girls you don't need to be dating a guy that is way older then you. For one there is no reason, and the relationship is always more complicated because there are always different schedules. Also even if he makes an effort you are going to ruin his social life with his friends, because everyone knows that not all the friends are going to accept you and throw him out. Which i understand i wouldn't want my best friend dating a guy 3 years younger then him. It will also totally ruin your social life, no matter how hard you try your going to separate yourself from your class and your friends then when you two get in a fight or break there will be no one to turn to or cry on.
It's just not good so don't do it, also don't go for a guy younger the same thing is going to happen either way.

5 Winter Dates
It is that time of year guys! Where the snow falls the fires are lit, the tree is up, and best of all the mistletoe is hung! I have 5 killer date ideas.
- Movie Night- Picture this you and your bf/gf sitting watching a classic Christmas movie all snuggled up sharing a blanket when the big kiss comes (there is one in just about any movie these days!) You guys reenact that moment but probably a little more long.
- Night Drive- Find the streets that have the best lights around town then drive to all of them of course coffee or hot chocolate in hand.
- Day in the Snow- You can either go to a park, your backyard, or the mountains, for a day of white powder. You guys can build a adorable snowman have a awesome snow fight with of course will end with a kiss, then come in and have delicious hot coco and maybe, just maybe some mistletoe action.
- Ice Skating- What is more romantic then skating (hopefully not a lot of falling, but that could always work in your advantage ;) if you know what i am thinking of) hand in hand everyone stopping and watching these two being so in love. And after of course going to get something warm to warm of your freezing body.
- Make some Christmas Cookies- See if you can kick your mom out of the kitchen for a few hours and make some delicious cookies with your sweetie. Of course you guys will put frosting and batter on each others noses. And of course get the batter off of each others lips!

Having trouble finding the difference between friends and bf gf?
Can you not decide whether you and your best guy friends are more then that? I asked two guys what they thought on the subject Tyler & Ethan. These guys both had very different answers to my questions.
Tyler has a best girl friend and is very very close to her and does similar things that me and my close guy friend do.
Ethan has a girlfriend of 18 months and most of his friends are guys.
I will start off with Ethan.
Me: I think my really good guy friend likes me, but i don't know how to tell the difference or how a guys brain is wired?
Ethan: Well from my point of view, I would say if he texts you first..... That's not a big one though! Try to see if he glances your way a bunch! Or if he's like flirty and makes contact with you a lot! And if your like in a group of people and he tries talking to you more than anybody else! That's what I think!!
Me:Thanks. But i do have an example for you. He has a gf and she is visiting family in Texas so after mini golf on Saturday he was takin me home and he asked if he could put his arm around me cause he missed his gf, gave me his sweatshirt and was like totally into it. But it is confusing cause he had a gf!
Ethan: What kind of person is he? Cause right now he doesn't sound like a good a guy!?
Me: have known this guy since i was 4. But i have to admit he can be player. But he is like a sibling to me. I don't think he would ever hurt a girl on purpose. But you never know...
Ethan: Yeah, you would be surprised by some people, I think he might be working his way into becoming a cheater! I'm not saying to avoid him or anything, but if he tries doing stuff, you have to tell him to stop!! Cause like with me in a relationship I want other people to respect that I and Bri are dating! If he starts doing more than what friends would do then I would tell him to stop and remind him that he has a gf.
Now i personally thought that Ethan went a little bit extreme. Now here is Tyler's point of view.
Me: Hey, i really need some stupid boy advice.
Tyler: You came to the right person what do ya need?
Me: I think my best guy friend guy likes me.
Tyler: I need examples! (he laughs)
Me:so after mini golf on Saturday he was takin me home and he asked if he could put his arm around me cause he missed his gf, gave me his sweatshirt and was like totally into it.
Tyler: He has a girlfriend?
Me: Yea, that is the curveball.
Tyler: If her didn't have a girlfriend I would ask him, cause it never hurts to ask. Since he has a girlfriend though i would hold off.
Me: What should I do about the whole putting his arm around me and all that stuff?
Tyler: Friends are allowed to that! Stop worrying and go with the flow.
Now as you can see both of the guys had very different answers to my question. They have both had different experiences. Everyone's relationships are different ask a guy you are close to and knows your relationship with the bgf (best guy friend) if yours.

Is he more then bedazzled?
Is he a real guy or just a stud?
When he talks to you does he ask you about his day or about his awesome day with his buds. Does he say how beautiful you are or how beautiful he is? Can you see having a lasting relationship with his ugly personality or his flawless body.
My advice would be it is always fun to go out on a couple dates with a flawless bodied guy take some pics with him and post them on Facebook to make every other girl in your friends list jaws drop. But what I am trying to get at those are that those are just some dates not starting an actual relationship with him cause once you jump in with him there is not way of getting out.
